Sylvia May Reeve was born in Great Yarmouth, moving to Gorleston then Wymondham before finally settling in Norwich after marrying her husband Cyril. Together they spent many happy years socialising, dancing and travelling with their caravan and campervans. Her 1st love was reading she used to say if she had to choose she would take a book over food which brings me on to her 2nd love, seafood ! She loved it all, from her fish and chip lunches with Peter to her daily salmon treats courtesy of delivery from Warren. Many of you may not know that Sylvia fostered and childminded and her love for children never waned as she adored her sheer volume of grandchildren and great children not forgetting Samuel and Amy ( the dolls) and up to recently she was looking into sponsoring a child. You will all have special memories of Sylvia as a Mum a Nan a Great Nanny a cousin a neighbour and a friend but I think you will all miss that card that she never failed to send and will always remember the dignity and selflessness that she showed when faced with her latest battle and the stoical and stubbornness she showed whilst remaining positive right up until the end.
